Four Color Fear: Forgotten Horror Comics of the 1950s – 2nd printing

Four Color Fear: Forgotten Horror Comics of the 1950’s contains 40 old horror comics from the 50’s spread throughout its 300 pages, edited by John Benson and Greg Sadowski. This book actually showed up on a bunch of “best of” lists for 2010, including FEARnet’s top 5 best comics of 2010 and Popmatters’ best fiction of 2010. Fantagraphics’ first printing of this compilation came out in 2010 and sold out in months. Due to its overwhelming success, they’re reprinting this book, which is due to come out sometime in April 2011. Thank goodness! I missed the boat the first time around and am dying (pun intended) to get my hands on these awesome tales of the undead, radioactive mutants, vampires, ghouls, and swamp monsters. From the images I’ve seen of the book, the artwork is amazing. For more detailed information on Four Color Fear and how to purchase it, check out what the publisher Fantagraphics has to say about it in their web store.
