The Alps – Easy Action

Mexican Summer has recently released Easy Action by the Alps on March 28, 2011. The Alps create tunes that are rooted in repetition, incorporating the sounds of psych rock, folk, and swelling electro fuzz to create some beautiful instrumental soundscapes. This is the kind of music that does well in the background, but is equally rewarding if you take the time to listen to the interesting mix of texture, melody and genre-combining sounds. While relaxed and repetitive, Easy Action is rarely dull. Have a listen to “Easy Action” and “For Isabel” below.
