Girls Names – Dead to Me

Girls Names are a trio from Belfast who will put out their first full-length LP Dead to Me on April 24, 2011. Girls Names dances between 80’s indie rock and the classic pop sounds of 60’s garage and surf. They play around with a similar reverb-soaked sonic palette as bands like Crystal Stilts or the Fresh and Onlys, but manage to take things in a bit different direction. Slumberland will be releasing this one. You can listen to “Seance on a Wet Afternoon” and “I Lose” below, or you can also check out more samples from the album over at Midheaven.
