Love – Black Beauty

High Moon Records is a new record label that will focus primarily on reissues for rare, and unreleased albums of the “60’s, 70’s and beyond.” They’ll be kicking off the birth of their label with Black Beauty, a previously unreleased album, recorded in ’73 by the legendary and highly influential psych rock band Love. This has only previously been available as a rare bootleg, but will be out in its remastered version on June 7, 2011. For more information on the release, check out what High Moon Records has to say about it here. I don’t have any songs off the album to share, but you can have a listen to “Seven and Seven Is” from their 1967 album Da Capo below.
