Big Beat‘s putting out a vinyl reissue of the Seeds’ Evil Hoodoo. Active throughout the latter half of the 60’s, the Seeds are notable as both a highly influential cornerstone in American garage and psych rock, and as an early progenitor of punk rock. Evil Hoodoo was a best-of compilation released in the late 80’s. If you’re unfamiliar with the Seeds’ music, this is a great place to start. Evil Hoodoo will be out May 17th, 2011.
