Iowa’s Wet Hair will offer up their new LP In Vogue Spirit on De Stijl Records May 23, 2011. This album features 8 new songs that highlight the band’s brand of droney electro-psych, complete with pop flourishes and a thick layer of smoked-out haze. Wet Hair’s rock-solid rhythm section propels the music ahead, while electronics weave around the beat, dancing in and out of the hazily textured atmosphere for bursts of melody. If you’re into the likes of Bitchin’ Bajas, Moon Duo, or Black Moth Super Rainbow you shouldn’t have a difficult time loving the hell out of this release.
